Sana Mohsin from Pakistan (Spectacular Pakistan: An International Sugar Art Collaboration hosted by Faiza Sherjeel)

Inspiration: 'Pakistani pot art & truck art'

My name is Sana, I live in Baharain.
I’m a Cake Artist and Cake decorating is my hobby.I have been working since 2013. During last 4 years I have created many cakes of different shapes, sizes and themes.

Recently I received a Bronze medal at International Cake show Istanbul. I have also participated in few online contests.

It’s an honour for me to be a part of this collaboration. I have chosen 'pot art & truck art' as my inspiration. Actually pottery making fascinated me from my childhood and I wanted to do it by my hands that’s why I chose this as my inspiration for this collaboration. It is a good experience making miniature pottery from fondant. I hope you will enjoy my work.

I am also an event planner by profession,it is my Home based business. I am a mother of one beautiful girl. My area of speciality is sculpted cakes and I also work on different types of cakes like Wedding and birthday cakes.

I arranged an event of cake decorating in collaboration with Sam’s Cake Factory in 2016 at PACC Karachi, it was a big cake decorating workshop where 100 participants attended it, this event was published in Naway e Waqt news paper.

Baking and cake decorating is my first love,I have been baking since my childhood when I was in grade 6. I worked with my mom when I was a kid.

This year I have been dedicating my time to do as many Collaborations as I can, to improve my sculpting skills and get to know many cake decorating friends from around the world. My latest piece was done for the “ Pirates of the Caribbean”collaboration. These pieces were done for CPC's Cake Collaboration. Currently I am working on a few more up coming collaborations.
