Adriana Rivera from Spain Spectacular Pakistan: An International Sugar Art Collaboration - Interview

Hello, my name is Adriana Rivera, I use my maternal grandfather's last name since he has been an example for me, and it is a way of honoring his name.

I dedicated myself to the world of cakes almost all my life, at barely nine years I started taking cooking classes, I preferred to play with casseroles, blenders, curlers, play cakes than to play with dolls.

So the years went by, I also worked on other things, but my true passion is pastry, modeling with sugar paste, chocolate, etc., and making people enjoy and feel happy to see my creations
I had catering, pastry shop, cafeteria and now I dedicate myself to giving courses, upload tutorials to my Youtube channel.

I am self-taught, I am always studying, experimenting, searching, researching, I have the idea that you should always study and update.

I have won awards in Australia and Cake International Birmingham, I presented three pieces and all three won prizes.

I was nominated for Cake Hero of the year, I got badges for my models on worldwide recognized pages. I have been invited to participate in Cake International Birmingham 2018 at Peach Life. The Cake Master magazine has published one of my works. For the third consecutive month I was named member of the month in 'Cake Sharing Circle'.

Above all, I do everything from the heart and soul.

My piece is a lovely snake-charmer, I always imagined them as magicians who can levitate and dazzle snakes, that's why I did it floating!

I have used chocolate modeling, Saracino paste, Rainbow powder dyes and airbrush.
