We’re back with MizLink Muses, your curated journey into the arts, crafts, and entrepreneurial spirit of Pakistan — and the incredible women behind it all.

Nazia’s Story – Stitching a Life, One Thread at a Time

Nazia is a quiet force in her small town near Multan. She learned embroidery as a young girl, sitting beside her mother on warm afternoons, watching each stitch bring color to plain fabric. What began as a pastime quickly grew into a passion — and eventually, a livelihood.

Today, Nazia leads a small group of women artisans who come together not just to embroider, but to support one another. They specialize in embroidered cushion covers, known for their intricate threadwork and vibrant mirror motifs. But their craftsmanship goes beyond beauty — it’s also about quality.

To ensure the durability of their work, Nazia either sources or receives color-fast fabric and thread from customers, ensuring that the colors do not bleed or fade. This attention to material quality not only protects their artistry but also strengthens trust with their buyers — many of whom are returning customers.

"When I sew, I don’t just make something beautiful — I make something that lasts," Nazia says with pride. "It’s our tradition, and it’s our way of life."

Through her art, Nazia is preserving heritage while building a sustainable future for herself and her fellow artisans — one careful stitch at a time.

Each piece is not just beautiful, but made to last. 💫 #WomenArtisans #PakistaniEmbroidery #MizLinkMuses
